Gender Journey Mid (ZOOM) Atlantic's Community Guidelines are a combination of the values and desired behaviors of our community and a set of directives. In order for us to have a safe and inclusive space for all, these Community Guidelines must be followed. If you have any questions or concerns, please check in with the Room Moderator of your individual session and/or email info@genderjourneymidatlantic.org.
- Please be patient and kind as we all navigate this virtual meeting space together.
- What you hear from other attendees and who you see are confidential.
- In order to protect everyone’s privacy, do not take screenshots, photos, live stream or record any portion of the event.
- Do not share the event Zoom links with anyone who was not registered on your ticket.
- Everyone will be muted upon entry to the session. Please remain on mute when not speaking.
- We invite you to turn your video camera on, but it is not required. The sessions will not be recorded. Participate in the way that makes you feel most comfortable.
- When your camera is on, please refrain from distracting activities or backgrounds.
- Please be mindful of who is in your physical space during the event.
- Consider using headphones so other folx in your space cannot hear.
- If you do not have headphones and others who are not registered can hear, please have them abide by these guidelines.
- Please leave space for our parents/caregivers to ensure that their questions and concerns are addressed first.
- Please keep chat discussions relevant to the session.
- Use respectful language in the chat.
- Failure to abide by the Guidelines could result in removal from the event.
- Anyone suspected of trolling, doxxing, or Zoom bombing will be removed.
